| Dr Tan Kee Kwong endorses Anwar August 23, 2008 - Dr Hsu’s Forum Former Gerakan KL State Chairman and former MP for Segambut, Dr Tan Kee Kwong, openly endorsed Anwar yesterday. He said he made this decision based on his personal belief and because he was so sick of the rotten and corrupt practices of BN. Bravo! Dr Tan is my good friend and was instrumental for influencing me into joining Parti Gerakan. His father was none other than the Mister Opposition, Dr Tan Chee Khoon, and a founder of Parti Gerakan. In the press conference yesterday, as reported in Malaysiakini Chinese edition, he mentioned that ANwar is the agent for change. As I have mentioned in my writings before, this is no longer about ANwar but about what Anwar represents, which is what Gerakan’s ideology is about. I hope all gerakan politian would come out to share views for a better malaysia rather than keeping their mouth shut.
Everyone has to except the fact that we need a change and here is the chance roll things over.
Gerakan must show their worth and their intention.

I read in one of the blogs that
(i) this Ezam fellow had sworn that he would never in his lifetime rejoin UMNO,
(ii) this Ezam's mum had sworn in the name of Allah that none of her family members would join UMNO.
Can someone be kind enough to confirm or dispute above two claims of the blogger?
What I know is that this Ezam fellow claimed during the peak of the Reformasi movement that he had 6 boxes of evidence of the corruption of UMNOputras and BNputras!
Another fact is that this Ezam fellow as Chairman of Gerak submitted documents to the PM about nearly 2 years ago regarding the corrupt practices of a senior UMNO minister. Why till today there's no news from the PM dept and neither is there any further comment on this case by this Ezam fellow?
I saw on prime time MSM news the ceramah of this Ezam fellow, reminding me of salivating of one Dr LKY, where there's a joke that wheneve LKY speaks, you had better be prepared with an umbrella! Or else be blessed with the accompanying shower!
